Course contents

The workshop Recognising Differences, Addressing Inequalities: Educational Design in Complex Contexts is designed to develop competencies in analysing educational needs and designing interventions for individuals, groups, and communities shaped by social, cultural, gender, and generational differences. Adopting an interdisciplinary perspective, the workshop explores theoretical and practical tools for understanding the complexity of educational contexts and designing interventions that promote equity and well-being.The workshop will include contributions from professionals working in educational, social, and health services, third-sector organisations, and other community-based settings. Drawing on their professional experience, participants will explore issues such as social class inequalities, migration, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity, the prevention of violence and discrimination, the development of local support networks, the adoption of an intersectional perspective, and the design of inclusive educational interventions.
