Learning outcomes

At the end of the course students will know the main theoretical sociolinguistic models and the main research and elaboration of data methods.

Course contents

The course aims to provide students with the conceptual and regulatory foundations relating to minority languages and their protection. The focus will be on the minority languages of Italy and some European countries.

Assessment methods

Written exam in English (1 hour), with open questions on the contents  included in the exam syllabus.

During the exam, the use of any electronic device that enables GenAi (generative artificial intelligence) is prohibited.
