Learning outcomes

At the end of the laboratory students know the most important ICT; they are able to use ICT to find, assess, produce, present and exchange information and to communicate and participate to collaborative networks on Internet; they can analyze and evaluate critically tools and technologies for teaching and learning; they are able to use ICT for critical thinking, creativity and innovation; they are able to use ICT to design, document, monitor and assess didactical activities.

Course contents

Erasmus and exchange students are required to contact prof. Elena Pacetti (elena.pacetti@unibo.it) to verify the possibility to add this workshop to their learning agreement. Practical activities to be carried out individually will be agreed upon, and there will be no need to register for or attend the workshop itself.

  

This workshop takes place in the Summer term (June/July 2027) and it is in Italian.


Technologies to support teaching and teacher training


The workshop will propose the use of different teaching mediation tools: social media, presentation tools, portals and communities, apps and cloud software (for creating concept maps, websites, digital artifacts, coding, etc.). In particular, work will be done on the exploration and experimentation in small groups of different digital resources and on the design of a didactic path involving the use of technologies.

In case of admission, 75% attendance is compulsory: a maximum of 6 hours of absence is allowed, but the first and last meeting are compulsory, under penalty of exclusion from the whole workshop.

Teaching methods

This is a workshop with practical exercises to be done during lectures and at home.

As concerns the teaching methods of this course unit, all students must attend Module 1, 2 [https://www.unibo.it/en/services-and-opportunities/health-and-assistance/health-and-safety/online-course-on-health-and-safety-in-study-and-internship-areas] on Health and Safety online.

Assessment methods

The workshop will be assessed on a scale of 30 on the basis of:
-punctuality in the delivery of papers, exercises, artefacts;
-quality of the works produced according to specific criteria shared in a rubric of evaluation.

With regard to assessment, the use of AI is prohibited. Any use of AI constitutes a violation of academic integrity.

Students with specific learning disorders and\or disabilities: please, contact the office responsible (https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en/for-students) as soon as possible so that they can propose acceptable adjustments. The request for adaptation must be submitted in advance (15 days before the exam date) to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of the adjustments, taking into account the teaching objectives.

Teaching tools

Further teaching materials will be uploaded on Virtuale platform.

It is recommended to have a pc/laptop for the assignments to be done at home.
