Assessment methods

This course is part of the Integrated Course "The cell and its functions".

The assessment of learning outcomes for the "Cellular Physiology" course will be conducted exclusively in written form, in an integrated manner and concurrently with the other courses of the Integrated Course.

The time available for the written exam of the C.I. is 120 minutes.

To pass the Integrated Course exam, students must obtain the minimum score established in each course, as indicated on the respective web pages.

If the assessments for one or more courses are insufficient, the entire Integrated Course exam must be retaken.

The Integrated Course exam "The Cell and Its Functions" is therefore considered passed for verbalization with a minimum overall score, calculated by adding all specific scores, of 65/105, and the grade will be expressed out of 30.

The Cellular Physiology exam consists of:
2 open-ended questions worth 2.5 points each (max of 5 points)
10 closed-ended questions worth 1 point each (max of 10 points)
The maximum score is 15/15 (i.e., it counts for 1/7 of the credits of the C.I.).

The minimum passing score for the Cellular Physiology exam is 10/15, but it is necessary to correctly answer:
both open-ended questions in Cellular Physiology (5 points) and
at least 5 out of 10 closed-ended questions in Cellular Physiology (5 points).

Students with learning disorders and/or temporary or permanent disabilities: please, contact the office responsible (https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en/for-students ) as soon as possible so that they can propose acceptable adjustments.

The request for adaptation must be submitted in advance (15 days before the exam date) to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of the adjustments, taking into account the teaching objectives.

Teaching tools

Lecture slides are provided, and recorded lectures will be made available on Virtuale at the end of the course.
