Learning outcomes

At the end of the workshop the student: - is able to move independently in applying the specific techniques learnt or within projects organised by the institutions; - is able to confront with other subjects on the methods of use and documentation of the techniques learnt; - is able to place the specific knowledge learnt in different types of service; - is able to evaluate the limits and merits of the technical instruments learnt; - is able to transfer the technologies learnt in different contexts making personal modifications and integrations.

Course contents

The Workshop is designed to offer a structured overview of the Human Resources (HR) function and to develop specific competencies in staff recruitment and selection, as well as in the design and delivery of corporate training programs. This is achieved through a practical approach grounded in critical reasoning, dialogue, interaction with HR professionals, analysis of key concepts, and practical exercises.

The course is structured into six 4-hour sessions (24 hours total):

• Sectors and Business Models
• Working Time and Workplace Models

Day 2

• Corporate Culture
• Interview Preparation Techniques

Day 3

• Guest Speaker Interview

Day 4

• Interview Debrief and Follow-up
• The Recruitment and Selection Process

Day 5

• Training Program Design (Part I)

Day 6

• Training Program Design (Part II)
• Final Practical Exercises and Simulations
