Course contents

DIDÁCTICA DEL ESPAÑOL COMO LENGUA EXTRANJERA (ELE).

On the first day of classes, a specific dossier will be presented with the materials required for the course.


PROGRAMME

Analysing the ELE manuals and, in particular, the teaching units to get to know the basic principles on which its design is based.

Establishing the basic criteria for the design of teaching units that foster the development of communicative and intercultural competence in ELE.

Formulating the learning objectives of a teaching unit and selecting the linguistic and strategic contents required to acquire them.

Designing a teaching unit from already published learning materials.

Adapting the curricular specifications (objectives, contents, methodological orientations and assessment processes) to the pupils' variables and contextual factors.

In detail, this part will focus on the analysis and implementation of practice related to different aspects of teaching Spanish as a FE

Assessment methods

Design of ELE tasks and teachiing sequences in groups (during lecture hours)

- Presentation of a class lesson following the methodological principles of the programme (in the classroom)


Final written examination on the articles presented in the Spanish language didactics dossier

* PLEASE NOTE: the exam of this course is preparatory to the exam of the lecture course held by the Professor incharge and it applies to both non-attending and attending students. The exam is valid for a whole year.
