Assessment methods

At the end of the course, students will be required to submit, in groups of four, a written paper aimed at verifying the knowledge and skills outlined in the ‘knowledge and skills to be acquired’ framework which - starting from a concrete case study of the reorganisation of the care model of an Operating Unit or Service in a hospital/territorial context provided by the lecturer - describes the implications in terms of quantifying resources, organising working hours, defining staff rostering models, verifying planned hours with contractual obligations. The paper is to be accompanied by a reference bibliography.

The paper must be written on the basis of a format provided by the lecturer and sent to the lecturer by e-mail at least 10 days before the examination date.
The assessment of the paper will take into account the coherence of its contents with respect to the delivery of the topic and the assigned objectives, its completeness and scientific accuracy, the articulation between the various phases of the paper and the support of the bibliographical references.
The test is considered passed with a minimum mark of 18/30.

Grading of final mark

Complete content and responsive to the proposed theme, coherence and balance between the different phases of the paper, complete mastery of specific terminology and presence of a bibliography relevant to the theme = vote 30-30 cum laude

Suitable content and responsive to the proposed theme, good consistency and balance between the different stages of the work, correct mastery of specific terminology and good bibliographic support = vote 26-29

Contents not too far from the proposed theme, acceptable coherence and balance between the different phases of the work and in the mastery of specific terminology; substantial bibliographical references = vote 22-25

Generic content in relation to the proposed theme, sufficient coherence between the different stages of the work, limited mastery of specific terminology and essential bibliographical references = grade 18-21

Content not suitable for the proposed theme, lack of coherence and balance between the different phases of the paper, inadequacy of scientific language and limited bibliographic support = insufficient

The test will be carried out according to the indications contained in the University regulations (which you are invited to consult) and according to any other indications provided from time to time by the academic bodies.
