She holds a degree in Sociology and Nursing and Midwifery Sciences, a PhD in Sociology of Communication and Performing Arts, and a Certificate of Revalidation of the Management Training Certificate from the University of Urbino. Her Master's degrees highlight her specialisation in Management and Organisation in the Health Sector, which complements her skills in Sociology and Nursing Sciences.
Her research interests focus on the sociology of health, in particular a new interpretation (connection and co-evolution) of the relationship between the macro-social dimension (institutions, the healthcare system, hospitals) and the micro-social dimension (citizens, users, individuals). She has participated in numerous national and international conferences and is the author of several publications.
