Learning outcomes

The student acquires the knowledge and ability to understand the basics of Autonomic Nervous System functions and dysfunctions.

Course contents

Syncopes: definition, clinical and instrumental diagnosis.
Autonomic dysfunctions in neurodegenerative diseases: definition, clinical and instrumental diagnosis.
Neurogenic orthostatic hypotension and supine hypertension: definition, clinical and instrumental diagnosis, therapy.

Written examination with multiple-choice questions and answers and Oral examination.
