Learning outcomes
The students acquire in-depth knowledge of the methods and instruments necessary for the optimal structural design of composite structures, particularly laminates and sandwiches, They learn the principles of the design for additive manufacturing, the mechanical properties of AM materials and the experimental methods for their determination. Optimal design criteria will be performance, cost and sustainability (reduction of the number of parts, lightweight design, and design for disassembly).
