Learning outcomes

The course aims to develop technical-professional, organizational, and safety skills consistent with the profile of the Medical Radiology Technician, through an in-depth study of technical and technological innovations in Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiotherapy, promoting the appropriate use of technologies, optimization of protocols, quality of services, and patient protection.

Course contents

The course aims to provide an up-to-date, critical, and applied view of emerging technologies in diagnostic imaging. It will address key developments in artificial intelligence, advanced equipment, and radiological informatics, as well as their professional, ethical, and environmental implications. Special emphasis will be placed on interaction with industry professionals and scientific societies. To provide students with an advanced, critical, and up-to-date understanding of new technologies in diagnostic imaging, integrating theoretical, applied, and future perspectives, also drawing on contributions from the professional and industrial world.
