Learning outcomes

The course allows students to address the linguistic and discursive aspects of the French language, from both a synchronic and diachronic perspective, with applications in textual analysis and translation. Through practical activities, communicative skills in all abilities, both active and passive, are progressively developed up to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Learning is oriented towards enhancing plurilingualism, placing knowledge of French in dialogue with other languages and cultures from an intercultural perspective. In addition, the course introduces principles and methodologies of French language teaching, encouraging critical reflection on language learning and teaching processes, useful from both an academic and a professional perspective.
