Learning outcomes
The workshop aims at introducing students to the principles of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms for data analysis, combining mathematical insight with hands-on implementation in R. By the end of the course, students will be able to: Understand how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning frameworks contribute to modern data analysis and the evolution of decision-making processes; design and implement R scripts to manage and analyze real-world datasets, applying a broad range of foundational programming skills and learning algorithms; critically interpret data-driven results in light of their social and political implications, recognizing both the opportunities and limitations of algorithmic decision-making.
