Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, the student will have knowledge of Italian literature from the 17th century to the mid-19th century, with particular attention to the relationship between literary texts and the historical, ideological-cultural, and linguistic context, in a comparative perspective that takes into account the specific institutional features of the pre-unification states. The student will also have acquired the methodological and theoretical tools necessary for the analysis and interpretation of literary texts.
