Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the module, students will be able to understand the fundamental principles of electromyography (EMG) as a diagnostic technique.

Course contents

The course focuses on the methodological principles of electromyography (EMG) in the diagnosis of the following neuromuscular disorders:

  • Peripheral polyneuropathies
  • Motor neuron diseases and radiculopathies
  • Neuromuscular junction disorders
  • Myopathies
