Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student knows the specific features of different materials and insulation systems. For each equipment used in transport electrification, the student understands the choices leading to the selection of a specific insulation system on the basis of the equipment stress and utilization profiles. The student is thus autonomous in developing electrical insulation systems for novel applications. The student is also able to plan and execute tests to demonstrate the quality of insulation systems.
