Learning outcomes

The course is an introduction to the study of archival documents and descriptions in view of their computerization. On the one hand, questions about the standards in use for description will be posed; on the other hand, problems with conservation and preservation will be faced. Special attention will be dedicated to the creation of open access environments for the copying of digital documents and accompanying descriptions in the sector of historical archives.
