Course contents

In this annual course, starting from the base learned in the course LINGUA GIAPPONESE (TERZA LINGUA) I (or a course with the equivalent level), new linguistic contents will be presented. The exercises will focus on various skills: for example, conversation, orthography, listening & reading comprehension.

My lecture takes a place once every week, accompanied with a weekly exercise session Esercitazioni di Lingua Giapponese (Terza LINGUA) II every Friday (15:15-16:45, Aula 2 Teaching Hub) by Prof. Masako Suzuki (masako.suzuki@unibo.it).

In the conversational exercises, the students will participate in role play activities in order to improve their communicative skills in realistic everyday life situations.

Furthermore, the students will continue to write Japanese compositions with the computer.

Assessment methods

Method

Final grades will be determined on the basis of students' performance in the written and oral examinations, the mid-course assessment (for extra credit), and the writing assignments.

Attendance is not mandatory; however, students are strongly encouraged to attend classes regularly.

Students with specific learning difficulties (SpLD) or with disabilities that can affect their ability to attend courses are invited to contact the University service for students with disabilities and SLD at the earliest opportunity -- ideally before the start of the course: https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en/for-students. The University service will suggest possible adjustments to the course work and/or exam, which must then be submitted to the course leader so they can assess their feasibility, in line with the learning objectives of the course. Please note that adjustments to the exam must be requested at least two weeks in advance.
