Course contents

During the lessons the focus will be on the diagnosis and rehabilitation of cognitive and behavioral disorders resulting from cerebrovascular diseases, brain tumors, and multiple sclerosis, as well as selective cognitive disorders (subjective memory complaints, Mild Cognitive Impairment, dementia, and traumatic brain injury). The scope covers all areas requiring neuropsychological assessment (neurodivergence, forensic evaluations, etc.). Emphasis is placed on differential diagnosis regarding purely psychological or psychiatric disorders that may present as comorbidities; additionally, the program provides the tools to design effective, evidence-based rehabilitation interventions aimed at improving the quality of life for both the patient and their family.

A maximum score (30 *cum laude*) will be awarded if the student provides a response regarding the diagnosis and neuropsychological rehabilitation that is theoretically sound, practically applicable, and formally correct (with particular attention to the use of specialized terminology). The grade will be scaled from 30 down to 18 based on the accuracy and completeness of the exam.

During the exam students are not allowed to consult any materials, such as textbooks, notes, electronic devices.

The student is required to complete the online registration (Almaesami) within the terms in order to be admitted to the exam.
