Course contents
By the end of the course, students will be able to identify and understand the main pediatric orthopedic disorders, with an overview of both orthotic and surgical treatment options.
The course will cover the following topics:
- Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH) and Congenital Hip Dislocation
- Congenital Clubfoot
- Flatfoot (Pes Planus)
- Legg–Calvé–Perthes Disease
- Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis (SCFE)
- Limb Length Discrepancy
- Angular Deformities of the Lower Limbs
- Hip Pain, Knee Pain, and Heel Pain in Pediatric Patients
- Scoliosis and Kyphosis
