Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, students will acquire the characteristics of pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders and will be able to plan their speech and language therapy management. They will also acquire the assessment and management of atypical swallowing and orofacial myofunctional disorders.

  • Speech and language treatment

Dysfunctional swallowing and orofacial myofunctional disorders:

The assessment criteria will include students’ ability to identify and  organize the knowledge acquired, and the ability to apply this knowledge to solve short questions

The final grade for the course module will be expressed on a 30-point scale and will contribute, through a weighted average, to the overall grade for the course.
