Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, the student will possess the knowledge and understanding of the operational tools required to provide specialized palliative and end-of-life care across all age groups.

3. Elements of pharmacological and interventional pain management

4. Physiotherapeutic pain management

5. Acute and chronic pain: pathophysiological, clinical, organizational, and rehabilitative aspects regarding the patient with post-operative pain. 6. What is oncology rehabilitation/physiotherapy?

7. Oncology rehabilitation centers and oncology networks in Italy

8. Multidisciplinarity in oncology

9. Rehabilitative treatment of symptoms associated with cancer treatment (fatigue, pain, dyspnea)

10. Rehabilitation needs in breast cancer

11. Rehabilitation needs for limb lymphedema following lymph node dissection for cancer

12. Rehabilitation needs in thoracic cancers

13. Rehabilitation needs in colorectal cancers

14. Rehabilitation needs in head and neck cancers

15. Rehabilitation needs in urogenital cancers

16. Rehabilitation needs in primary bone sarcomas
