  • Campus: Rimini
  • Corso: First cycle degree programme (L) in Nursing (cod. 8475)

Learning outcomes

The student, at the end of the module, thanks to the knowledge of the fundamental principles of chemistry and organic molecules of biological interest, is able to evaluate biological and biochemical parameters in biological samples and in vivo, also in relation to pathophysiological states, at different levels of structural organization, from single molecules to cells, tissues, organs, up to the whole organism.

Course contents

Assessment methods

Learning is assessed solely through a final examination, which verifies the acquisition of the expected knowledge and skills.

The exam is unified for the Integrated Course in Pathological Sciences and is conducted in written form, using a computer in a computer lab.

The written test will be taken in the following format:

A single test of 60 questions covering all subjects: General Pathology (30), General Pharmacology (10), Clinical Pathology (10), Clinical Biochemistry(10).

Duration: 50 minutes.
Minimum passing score: 36 correct answers out of 60.

Students with learning disorders and\or temporary or permanent disabilities: please, contact the office responsible (https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en/for-students ) as soon as possible so that they can propose acceptable adjustments. The request for adaptation must be submitted in advance (15 days before the exam date) to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of the adjustments, taking into account the teaching objectives.
