Learning outcomes
To achieve basic knowledge on microbiota-targeted therapeutic strategies, in particular, to apply knowledge of probiotics, prebiotics, dietary interventions and fecal microbiota transplantation to formulate personalized treatment plans for patients with microbiota-associated systemic and gastrointestinal disorders. To explore engineered bacteria, next generation probiotics, post-biotics, phage therapy and novel microbiome therapeutics (microbial consortia).
