Learning outcomes
Patient and healthcare safety are increasingly important elements in the daily work of every healthcare professional, and the development of a culture of safety is proposed. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to: • recognize the risk factors that characterize the main aspects of healthcare, such as falls, restraints, drug therapy, etc., and the related error prevention and risk reduction strategies; • identify useful strategies to ensure the circulation of information, such as communication flows and non-technical skills; • use the main risk management tools. The course will address the topics of gender medicine and intercultural medicine to ensure inclusive and quality healthcare.
