Learning outcomes
At the end of the Internship abroad, the student acquires specific skills related to integration in a production, company or institutional setting, by gaining practical experience of the way work is organised in institutions, companies, affiliated associations including partner universities in other countries. He/she also acquires specific skills related to the sector of the company or institution at which he/she undertakes the placement.
Course contents
Internships consist of a work experience that can be carried out at organizations, companies, and other international partners (including international partner universities which offer job placement projects). International Partners regularly publish their offers in a special database that can be consulted by students. The procedure for activating an internship is described in detail on the course pages. Please read the instructions carefully.
The curricular internship is an activity of your study plan that allows you to achieve practical skills and university credits (cfu) according to the study plan of your course of study.
The internship abroad can be carried out by applying to the Erasmus+ mobility for traineeship [https://www.unibo.it/en/study/international-experiences/internship-abroad/erasmus-mobility-for-traineeship/erasmus-mobility-for-traineeship] exchange programme
It may also be carried out by selecting a host institution abroad and following the procedure described at the website of your course of study, at Studying/Internship page, and accessing SOL-Internship [https://studenti.unibo.it/sol/welcome.htm] platform.
There is also the possibility of carrying out an internship experience abroad in the framework of the ‘Erasmus+ Mobility for Traineeship’ programme which has its own different procedure and a specific call for which you can see the University web-page, (see the same page for other opportunities for a vocational training period abroad):

Readings/Bibliography
No reading is required, besides the activities required by the Internship.
Teaching methods
Internship is a work experience where methodologies to acquire and consolidate specific competences and skills are individually agreed for each student between the student, the host institution and the university tutor and are formalized in the internship program also called ‘Learning agreement for Traineeship’ within the Erasmus+ programme (see details in the web pages indicated above)
To be agreed on a case-by-case basis according to the internship experience planned.

Assessment methods
Assessment of the Internship experience (and the thershold for the pass/non pass finale grade) is fixed individually in the internship program. The host institution will certify the activities carried out and complete an online survey questionnaire. Students are also required to complete a final questionnaire and briefly summarize the results of the experience to the responsible teacher according to what is contained in the instructions on the applicativ.
Students with learning disorders and\or temporary or permanent disabilities: please, contact the office responsible (https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en/for-students ) as soon as possible so that they can propose acceptable adjustments. The request for adaptation must be submitted in advance (15 days before the exam date) to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of the adjustments, taking into account the teaching objectives.
