Teaching methods
Teaching methods
The 30 hour Spanish II course it takes place in the first semester.
The B1 level laboratory of 40 hours takes place in the first semester; The laboratory provides explanations of the arguments and practical exercises, the fundamental structures of the Spanish language necessary to achieve an adequate communicative competence.
Assessment methods
Attending
It is strongly recommended to attend at least 60% of the lessons (21 lessons out of 35 between Course and Laboratory) to ensure the exact scope of the contents developed during the course.
To the final grade of the subject compete the average of the Course/ Laboratory + a grade (from 0 to 3) for the oral.
The average of the Course/Workshop is composed in this way: the vote of the first partial, that of the second partial and the vote of the continuous evaluation of the course/workshop. The continuous evaluation will be qualitative and quantitative.
For all that concerns both the written tests and the written work required during the course of the subject, special reference is made to article 25.2 of [https://normateneo.unibo.it/codice_etico.html] adopted by our University.
It will be possible to recover only one of the two partial ones (the one in which you have been absent or you have not reached the minimum grade, or any one chosen by the student in order to raise the average obtained). Recoveries will take place ONLY during the course of the FIRST APPEAL and EXCLUSIVELY during this appeal. Who does not show up to this recovery or does not pass it will be considered as non-attending.
The oral test will be conducted by means of a conversation on topics relating to content and socio-political vocabulary (Debate, modules C and D). To access the oral test, students must register through ALMAESAMI. Attending students will have the opportunity to present themselves for the oral - maintaining the average obtained in the course/ workshop - until the call of the following September. To access the oral test, students attending must register through ALMAESAMI.
Attending students will have the opportunity to replace the oral with a presentation of a historical-political subject. The general instructions for this replacement will be given in class.
Please note that each student has the possibility to present themselves ONLY once per exam session (indication valid only for students of the triennium).
Do not attend
Depending on the current health situation, the examination for non-attending students will be conducted in person or remotely, according to this scheme:
1. The student must show up (on the day indicated at the scheduled time) in a virtual/real classroom (indicated in due time) for personal recognition. General instructions for the test will be given there. For remote testing, the device used for communication shall be equipped with a working microphone and camera.
2. The student will then move into a moodle (EOL) environment to perform the first three parts of the test:
– Part 1 or Linguistic Part. There are 30 items (multiple choice or short answer) of level B1 with a maximum value of 30 points (to pass to Part 2 you will have to reach at least 18 points). The part, will have a maximum time of 25 minutes.
– Part 2 or Historical-political part: There are 15 items (multiple choice or short answer) taken from Debate (modules C and D) with a maximum value of 15 points (to pass to Part 3 you will have to reach at least 9 points). The part, will have a maximum time of 13 minutes.
– Part 3 or Part of written production: There is a newspaper text to be read from which you will have to extract main ideas, transform sentences from direct style towards indirect, express opinions, value judgements and make proposals). All the exercises will be worth a maximum of 15 points. The part, to be performed, will have a maximum time of 35 minutes.
3. Once the first three parts are finished, the student will return to the virtual/real classroom for the oral.
- Part 4 or Oral Part: If you pass the written tests with at least 36/60 (ie 18/30) an oral test will take place on the platform or in presence on all units of Modules C and D of Debate.
To access the test by not attending students must register through ALMAESAMI.
