Learning outcomes
By the end of this activity, students will show: - the mastery of basic/fundamental topics of psychosocial and organizational research - the mastery of research methods for psychosocial and organizational studies - the ability to carry out a psychosocial and organizational research.
Course contents
The course will consist into different modules:
MODULE 1, 3, 4 “Advanced statistics for research data management” (45h)
At the end of the module students will understand the relationships between research hypotheses, study design, and analytical choices. Students will understand and be able to use and report some advanced statistical techniques applicable in the work, organizational and personnel psychology context. Students will learn how to work with others collaboratively in designing and developing research, and presenting the results.
MODULE 2 “Scientific writing” (15h)
By the end of the module, students will be able to critically read, write, and evaluate scientific papers. They will be capable of drafting a well-structured introduction, clearly articulating the aims and objectives of their research paper, selecting an appropriate title, and composing an effective abstract. Additionally, they will develop the skills to present their research confidently and clearly to peer audiences.

- Strategies for reading, writing, and evaluating scientific papers
- Crafting the introduction, aims, objectives, and overall research outline
- Approaching and structuring the literature review
- Writing a concise and impactful abstract
- Presenting research effectively to academic audiences
MODULE 5 “Questionnaires” (15h)
rom Data Collection to DisseminationAt the end of the module, students will be familiar with the key steps involved in developing a research project - from preparing the study (e.g., designing a questionnaire), to collecting data, and disseminating findings to diverse audiences.
Topics:
- Developing a research idea and preparing to test it
- Questionnaire design and types of validity
- The process of scale validation
- Disseminating results to different audiences

The final evaluation will be based on position paper and research paper
