Course contents

Using their knowledge of the history of modern Chinese literature and its historical, artistic and linguistic context, students will be able to place a text and its author in its context, interpret the contents of the text according to different points of view and methodologies, and finally illustrate this in a correct, complete and comprehensible manner.
Readings/Bibliography
The texts in question, taken from prose works by major authors of Chinese literature, will be available on Virtual.
Teaching methods
The lesson takes place in Chinese, in interactive mode. Students are invited to read the text in advance, with any digital support available. In class, questions on dubious points or passages in the text will be solicited; the contents of the text will be discussed in class.
