Teaching methods

The teaching methods used to support the learning process and achieve the educational objectives of the teaching are lectures and presentation and discussion of clinical cases.

The "problem solving" methodology is also used, identifying a specific clinical problem in the context of the diseases of the digestive system discussed during the course and identifying its solutions.

Assessment methods

The evaluation of the student's learning is carried out with a written exam, which consists of a multiple choice test.

The purpose of the exam is to evaluate the student's ability to apply their knowledge in diseases of the digestive system and to make the necessary logical-deductive connections.

During the exam, the student's knowledge of the epidemiology, etiology, physiopathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnosis and therapy of the diseases of the digestive system addressed in the course will be verified.

Teaching tools

The tools that are used to support teaching aim to stimulate interaction and socialization among students and improve their learning experience.
These essentially consist of audiovisual aids concerning the clinical manifestation, the diagnostic techniques and the treatment of diseases of the digestive system addressed in the course.
