Learning outcomes

At the end of the training activities, the student possesses knowledge that integrates and completes the content of the teachings on care/educational/organizational aspects of specific and/or particular interest.

Course contents

Titles of the submitted modules:

1. Professional responsibility
2. The hyperbaric chamber and the care of difficult wounds
3. Nursing skills in the Emergency Department
4. The procurement process in organ donation
5. Nursing skills in the prison setting
6. Artificial intelligence in healthcare

Readings/Bibliography

Specialized educational materials and bibliographic references shared by the teachers of the various seminars will be made available on the Virtual platform of the course.

Lectures and interactive sessions, case presentations, classroom exercises

Assessment methods

A multiple-choice test will be administered on a virtual platform at the end of the course, in conjunction with the Lab 3 exam.

The test will consist of 12 multiple-choice questions, of which only one is correct. To pass the test, the student must answer at least 7 questions correctly. The eligibility obtained in case of passing the test will be integrated into the assessment of the FUNDAMENTAL NURSING CARE LABORATORY III exam.

Students with learning disorders and\or temporary or permanent disabilities: please, contact the office responsible (https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en/for-students) as soon as possible so that they can propose acceptable adjustments. The request for adaptation must be submitted in advance (15 days before the exam date) to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of the adjustments, taking into account the teaching objectives.

Teaching tools

PowerPoint slides, scientific articles, procedures, and guidelines will be used.
