Learning outcomes

At the end of the module the student develops diagnostic reasoning skills, clinical reasoning, critical thinking and acquires care planning skills in highly complex situations. Apply the knowledge acquired relating to technical, relational and educational skills. The activity develops in preparation for the internship experience

Course contents

Heals difficult wounds - Basic Life Support and Defibrillation for adults - Basic Life Support and pediatric defibrillation - Nursing procedures in intensive care - Conflicts and assertive communication - Nursing procedures in polytrauma -Emergency Scenarios

Teaching methods

Laboratory activities will be conducted in simulation (low, medium and high fidelity) and some modules will be conducted within highly specialized clinical settings.

Assessment methods

The final exam will be carried out in written form, with multiple choice quizzes. Some modules of laboratory III will be evaluated in progress: BLSD and Emergency Scenarios
