Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will be equipped to understand the general principles of diagnostic imaging and oncological radiation therapy in dentistry. Specifically, students will be familiar with the various diagnostic imaging methods, especially those using ionizing radiation, and will be familiar with the principles of prosthetics and dosimetry. Students will be familiar with diagnostic workflows in dentistry and will be able to independently perform intraoral x-rays on mannequins and patients.

Types of X-rays and clinical indications.


Indications for the use of two-dimensional and three-dimensional radiography.


Radiographic diagnosis of dental pathologies

Written test and possible integration with an oral exam if deemed appropriate by the teacher
