Learning outcomes

The student learns to read and critically analyze philosophical texts and to write a philosophical essay.

Course contents

The workshop will introduce students to the use of computational tools for the critical analysis of philosophical and interdisciplinary texts: platforms, for publication search and evaluation, knowledge bases, artificial intelligence, and "distant reading".

Students will be able to use "augmented critical reading" tools to analyze and discuss philosophical texts, and create new ones.

Teaching methods

The course will be given in 2-hour slots, with mixed lectures and hands-on sessions.

Assessment methods

The final suitability exam will be a discussion of a small project that will be selected and assigned to the students during the course.
