Learning outcomes

This course will focus on neurologic and psychiatric pathologies of childhood and adolescence, including epilepsy, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, tic and Gilles de la Tourette syndrome, mood disorders and threapeutic options including antiepileptic, psychostimulants, typical and typical neuroleptics, antidepressant drugs. Students will strengthen their understanding and knowledge of the clinical pictures, pharmacological treatments of the examined disorders.

Neurologic and psychiatric pathologies in childhood and adolescence that need psychopharmaceuticals as antiepileptics, psychostimulants, typical and atypical neuroleptics, antidepressant drugs

The teaching material presented during the lessons will be made available to the students on Platform Virtual Learning Environment.

Teaching methods

Lectures with Q&A sessions, for a total of 8 contact hours.

Assessment methods

Students must attend at least 70% of the course contact hours in order to take the course qualification.
