Learning outcomes
At the end of the "Internship 1" the student has to be able to work in the nursing process, to find the main vital parameters (arterial pressure, cardiac and respiratory frequency), to characterize the pathological signs (pallor, sweating) of the patients fit in the training centre structure and to know and to apply the principles of hygiene and emergency actions in order to prevent the beginning of infections, to collaborate during operations of attendance to the sick one: in the management of the transfers, during the cure of himself and during the meal. He has to be able to analyze, to interpret and to describe, from the kinesiological point of view, the healthy adult individual posture and gestures. He has to be able to plan the articular and the muscular test to all the corporeal districts. He has to be able to set up a professional relationship with the users. He has to know the organization of the rehabilitative structures and to be able to insert in the team
Course contents
-To apply the principles of hygiene and safety to prevent the onset of infections such as lessons learned in clinical nursing.
- To run of postural changes (in both directions): supine / sitting, bed / chair or bed / wheelchair, wheelchair / WC
-To detect the main vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate) as the lessons learned during clinical nursing.
-To locate on people admitted to any pathological signs (pallor, sweating, tachycardia, dyspnea) listed in lessons of nursing.
-To assist in dressing the non autonomous patients, according to the teachings of the tutor during the first days of training.
-To assist feeding of dependent people according to the teachings of the tutor during the first days of training.
- Apply the joint and muscle test on all body areas.
- Perform simple physiotherapy, massage therapy and instrumental physiotherapy maneuvers.
