Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to recognize the main psychiatric syndromes.
Course contents
-Psychiatry and physical therapy: what are the possible correlations?
-Clinical features and treatment of schizophrenia and other psychotic spectrum disorders.
-Clinical features and treatment of mood disorders and anxiety disorders.
-Mental disorders related to addiction.
-Personality disorders.
-Trauma related disorders.
-Eating disorders.
-Focus on psychotropic drugs side effects.

Assessment methods
Oral questions.
o Excellent 30/30L: complete, consolidated and accurate preparation of the topics. Concepts are expressed in the right sequence with full command of the specific terms developed in an original way by the student.
o Excellent 29-30/30: complete, consolidated and accurate preparation of the topics . Concepts are expressed in proper sequence with full command of the specific terms.
o Very good 27-28/30: excellent preparation, but with significant inaccuracies in the presentation that compromise the obtaining of the maximum grade. Exposition of concepts is in the right sequence and with appropriate terms.
o Good 23-26/30: good level preparation, but with important inaccuracies in the presentation. Exposition of the concepts is not entirely correct in terms of sequentiality, precision and linguistic appropriateness.
o Sufficient 18-22/30: knowledge limited to basic concepts without any major gaps.
o Insufficient <18/30: poor preparation. Presence of repeated important errors of concept.
