Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will have acquired knowledge of the organizational context in which physiotherapists work. They will understand the most significant aspects of the main laws and regulations governing the Italian healthcare system and the role of physiotherapists. They will also understand the main concepts of the sociology of work according to various theoretical approaches: division of labor, occupation, profession, and competence. They will understand the impact of organizational change on healthcare workers' skills and the historical evolution of healthcare professions.
