Assessment methods

The General Psychology exam consists of a multiple-choice test with 31 questions (only one correct answer per question), to be completed within 20 minutes. Each correct answer is worth 1 point; incorrect or unanswered questions receive 0 points. The maximum achievable score, with all answers correct, is 30 cum laude. The exam is considered passed with a minimum score of 18/30 (i.e., 18 correct answers).

The use of any support material such as textbooks, notes, or electronic devices is not allowed during the exam.

Once the exam results are communicated, students who wish to decline their grade must notify the instructor within 3 days by sending an email with the subject line "GRADE REJECTION".

There are six General Psychology exam sessions scheduled throughout the academic year, published on AlmaEsami.

The General Psychology course (3 CFU) is part of the Integrated Course (C.I.) “Human Sciences,” together with Pedagogy (2 CFU). The grades obtained in the individual modules remain valid for one calendar year and will contribute to the final grade of the Integrated Course through a weighted average (in the case of a decimal, the grade will be rounded up if the decimal is greater than 0.5, and rounded down if it is equal to or less than 0.5).
