Learning outcomes
Provide in-depth knowledge of Project Management as a methodology for organizing the activities of complex and non-repetitive processes, with particular attention to environments in which multiple interacting projects are present simultaneously.
Course contents
The course is divided into three parts.
1. The first part is designed to integrate and deepen the basic concepts of project management learned in previous courses. Specifically, in addition to reviewing the relationship between project management and technological and organizational innovation, new concepts and operational tools are provided, such as anticipating constraints, role competency maps, and project risk management.
2. The second part presents an overview of the applications of project management within various innovation processes or the design and implementation of interventions. This overview will allow for a comparison of different organizational and management solutions adopted, thus highlighting the flexibility and adaptability of project management to different contexts.
3. The third and final part offers in-depth analysis of advanced aspects of project management. Specifically, multi-project management (portfolio and programs), flexible and agile methodologies, quantitative risk management techniques, and project stakeholder management.
