Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student: - knows the principles of plastic surgery and how they are applied in different settings. In particular will know the methods used in breast reconstruction, in the reconstruction of head and neck and in other anatomical areas.

Teaching methods

The course will consist of lectures.
Specific iconography will be projected to support the theoretical foundations.

Assessment methods

The end-of-course assessment consists of an oral exam to evaluate the achievement of the following educational objectives: - to know the principles and basic techniques in reconstructive plastic surgery (mandatory) - to be able to analyze the aesthetics of a face (frontal and profile) (mandatory) - to delve into topics addressed that have interested the student (optional). The exam grade for the integrated course is an average of the grades obtained in the three different subjects that make up the teaching unit.

Teaching tools

Frontal lessons, Projection of slides, attendance through practical training (when possible), suggested book texts.
