Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student: knows the phenomenon of gender-based violence, its evolution and specific legislation; knows the types of violence against women and the multicultural aspects; services involved in violence; knows the legislative framework as a protective context; knows the professional role of the social worker and the network of services against violence against women.
Course contents
The Laboratory intends to address the issue of domestic violence: the regulatory framework, the main references and provisions on national, European and international violence against women; the continuum and cycle of violence; witnessed violence: maltreatment of mothers; services involved in violence against women.

Credit recognition takes place where the following conditions are met:
1. frequency of seminar meetings (6 out of 7)
2. final exam (the procedures will be communicated at the beginning of the Laboratory).
