Learning outcomes

At the end of the module, the student possesses the knowledge relating to taking charge of the person / family in the context of priority health problems in the medical area. Identifies, plans and evaluates assistance interventions and collaborates with other professional figures in the diagnostic-therapeutic paths.

Course contents

Nursing care in patients with cardiovascular diseases (Myocardial Infarction, Heart Failure, Hypertension, Shock)

Nursing care in patients with respiratory diseases (COPD, Pneumonia)

Nursing care in patients with cerebrovascular diseases (Stroke, Epilepsy)

Nursing care in a patient with Diabetes Mellitus

Nursing care in patients with Kidney Diseases (Acute Kidney Failure, Chronic Kidney Failure)

Nursing care in patients with liver diseases (cirrhosis, hepatitis)

Nursing care in patients with oncological diseases

Other assistance plans can be made on other pathologies not previously considered at the request of the students.

Any changes, even if minimal, will be communicated at the beginning of the lessons.
