Valvulopathies: definition of aetiology and pathogenesis, physiopathology, clinical symptoms and signs, (Stenosis and mitral insufficiency; tricuspid insufficiency; stenosis and aortic insufficiency; mitral valve prolapse
Bacterial endocarditis definition, pathogenesis
Rheumatic disease definition, pathogenesis
Ischemic heart disease definition, pathogenesis
Angina Pectoris definition, characteristics of anginal pain, classification.
Acute myocardial infarction definition, pathogenesis. Electrocardiographic and enzymatic alterations. Diagnosis criteria. Mechanical and arrhythmic complications

Assessment methods
The assessment is done by a final oral examination aimed at ascertaining the acquired knowledge and skills. The test includes at least 2 open questions on different topics of the program.
The grade reported in the single teaching module is mediated (weighted average by number of CFU) with the partial marks obtained in the other modules of the integrated course.
