Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student:
1. Has knowledge related to the diagnosis and treatment planning of patients with altered anatomy of the jaw, as a result of demolitive and reconstructive surgery after cancer and post-traumatic lesions.
2. Has knowledge of the acute and chronic consequences of radiotherapy in the head and neck, and knowledge of related supportive therapies to be introduced iwhen patients are scheduled for prosthetic rehabilitation
3. Has knowledge about the different prosthetic treatments planing of upper and lower jaw after demolitive and reconstructive surgery due to cancer or trauma.
4. Has knowledge about the use of new CAD-CAM technologies for intraoral and extraoral prosthetic rehabilitation using osseointegrated implants
5. Has knowledge and manual skills in the construction of facial epithesis

6. CAD-CAM technology for Mandibular Rehabilitation
7. Craniofacial implants: surgery and prosthetics
8. Facial Defects: nasal, ear and facial prosthesis
Hands-on course:
· Nasal and ear impression with CAD-CAM technology and with conventional procedure
· Stone model finishing
