Learning outcomes

After completing the course, students will learn the theoretical and practical knowledge to find the sources of European funding more suitable to support projects to protect nature and the environment by following the rules of European planning more effective and methodologies of project management funded. In particular, the student will be able to:

- know the characteristics and the types of projects for the protection of habitats and species to be financed with European funds and major successful initiatives in the field;

- Conceive projects through the methodologies recommended at European level;

-  know and identify the more suitable European sources of financing to support the project idea in nature and environment;

- Develop the technical and economic feasibility of an European project on the basis of official forms;

- Identify the problems to be solved, the causes, the objectives, the expected results and actions in situations of natural and environmental compromised requiring European funding to be resolved;

- Propose to public and private bodies involved in the management of nature (parks, municipalities, associations, etc.) the participation in European calls to support pilot initiatives;

- Acquire the basic knowledge for the management of funded projects
