Assessment methods

To take the exam are mandatory two exercises:
1. Analysis of a building with graphic restitution (chosen in the list provided by teachers). The analysis can be performed individually or in groups of three students. The building must be visited. The guidelines are: the history, the historical and cultural themes, design themes, construction and materials aspects. The expected result of the exercise is a table in free form, an essay and a chart on the form provided. The preparation of the table will be conducted in the classroom, under the guidance of teachers.

2. Reading and analysis of an architectural book (chosen in a list provided by teachers). The analysis must be conducted individually. The expected result of the exercise is a short essay and a chart based on the form provided. The preparation of the table will be conducted in the classroom, under the guidance of teachers.

Built work and book should be placed in relation through a third elaborate: a conceptual scheme in free form summarizing the two readings.

The approval of the exercises (table and essay) is preliminary to the final examination and will take place during the final seminar.
The exam consists of a discussion on the issues of the lessons and of the general and specific bibliographies.
The student must take to the exam: the conceptual scheme, the two exercises signed for approval by teachers, a notebook with the drawings of significant architectures illustrated during the course and the timelines related to the temporal program.

For students who have attended the course in previous years, the exam must to be prepared on:
