Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to provide students with the morphological foundations of the human body to learn its organization on different levels  and the interaction among various systems, with particular reference to Physiology course contents.  Students will gain knowledge and skills applicable to basic morphological research as well as other different fields. 

Course contents

Introduction to the study of human anatomy and biology; description of the regions of the human body; main characteristics of the tegumentary, locomotor, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, urinary, male and female genital and endocrine systems; correlation between human ontogenesis and phylogenesis.
