Learning outcomes

The student, at the end of the lessons, will know the basis of the anatomy of the central and perypheral nervous system, the main categories of the neurological diseases with their clinical manifestations, the instrument for their diagnosis and the treatment's options

Course contents

Notes of anatomy and physiology of the central and perypheral nervous system:

Piramidal system, Extrapiramidal system, Cerebellum, Sensory system

The main categories of the neurological diseases:

Diseases of the motor system

Diseases of the sensory system

Acute cerebrovascular diseases

Epilepsy and syncope

Demielinating diseases

Muscular dystrophies

Diseases of the spinal cord

Degenerative encephalopathies

Teaching methods

It is not necessary to buy a book. The students will receive copy of the file used during the lessons. The final examination will be based only on the explained themes
