Learning outcomes

At the end of course student is able to determine nutritional requirements  and to run foods qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Course contents

Body composition; body composition evaluation methods; caloric requirements evaluation and related methods; diet planning;  use of food composition tables; calculation of food bromatological composition, nutritional labels interpretation; tools use for dietary habits recording; food portions evaluation by pictures. introduction to the use of a common language for professional practice; diet prescription to healthy people following  the guidelines; nutrition in older people.
